Home buyer tax credit extended

The home buyer tax credit has been extended AND expanded so go out and buy that condo by April 30, 2010!!

The new legislation does a few things:

  • extends the $8,000 credit to homes that are under contract by April 30, 2010,
  • creates a new $6,500 tax credit for owners of existing homes who buy a new principal residence*, and
  • increases the income eligibility limits for the tax credit from $75,000 to $125,000 for individuals, and from $150,000 to $225,000 for joint filers. Read the rest of this entry »

The Pittsburgh Downtown Partnerships welcomes new Downtown residents with a Welcome Kit and Resource Guide.  The property manager recieves the kits from the PDP and gives it to new residents.  The Resource Guide contained in the Welcome Kits can be downloaded here
